Worship is what we do with every part of our lives, honoring God with our attentiveness and gratitude to each task. (Yes, that includes weeding the garden, disagreeing with our spouse, laughing with friends, and reading Scripture.)

Liturgy is all about a gathering of people working to worship God together.

And friends, I gotta tell you ⤵️

I’m super proud of the way you’ve all continue to show up for the work of the people as best we can every Sunday during a global pandemic. No, it’s not the same. And after 16 weeks of virtual church I know this for sure: physically being together to do the work of worship is essential.

But being kinda-sorta together on Zoom has been the next best thing. We can see each others’ faces and hear each others’ voices. And it has been good.

BUT GUESS WHAT?!
This Sunday we’re going to be kinda-sorta back together, at least in the general proximity of one another.

It’s time for DRIVE-IN CHURCH!

You can still join us via Zoom or FB Live at home OR you can drive inand pick a section of the parking lot to join us for worship.

Pastor Kevin spent most of the day working on the wiring and tech side of things (yes he’s my favorite 😍). He’s made sure we have a super-stable internet connection and even hooked up a teeny-tiny sound system 🎤 so we pastors can lead from under the pavilion (you know, the carport…the…drive-through thingy. Yes that’s the technical term.)

We’re still playing it SUPER CAUTIOUS with this whole COVID thing. It’s not something to mess around with. We love you guys, and keeping you and our community safe is one of our top priorities. 

We will be asking every to stay in their cars or in lawn chairs in their designated parking space. The building will remain closed so use the bathroom at home. 🧻

OPTION A

1) Drive in to the church parking lot at 10am Sunday 🚗

2) Choose your parking space and hang out in your car or sit in lawn chairs right in front of your vehicle.🪑
